PAW first met Tereza as a stray near the sanctuary and made sure she received vaccines while she roamed. In June 2023 a neighbor sent video of Tereza in danger on the street. She was brought to the vet for spaying, but her checkup revealed she had Lyme disease and needed treatment first. So instead of a quick visit, Tereza came home. Today she's a cherished sanctuary member — healthy, protected, and no longer surviving on scraps.
